| Product Overview - These are our highest selling type of cartridge filters. The spun polypropylene provide the best product value in almost all water and mild chemical applications. No extractables, leachables, or binders are used in the construction. Unless specifically requested, all the spun series are individually packaged for ease of handling. All spun series are full continuous length to avoid the dead area where cartridges are stacked. | |

Standard spun - Our highest selling spun filters, this is an excellent product value. High dirt holding capacity, combined with high efficiencies make this the product of choice for most water prefiltration applications. Individually machine packaged and boxed to contain cost. To reduce pricing we did not compromise product quality, we automated the packaging. |
| Gradient Density - A feature of all TechReps spun series, gradient density affords substantially increased filter life and effectiveness. With this construction, the outer areas of the cartridge are a larger micron rating, gradually tightening to the effective rating approximately 2/3 to 3/4 of the distance to the core. This allows the larger particles to be trapped within the outer areas of the element, leaving the more central portions free for removal of the smaller particulates. This provides, in effect, staged filtration within one cartridge. Higher flow rate with dramatically improved effectiveness is achieved. For the customer, this translates into better product value. No glue or binders are used in the spun series manufacturing. No pre-leaching or pre-flushing is required. All of the spun series meet or exceed FDA requirements. |

Big Blue Spun Cartridges The spun series is available in a dual layer cartridge to fit both the 9-3/4" and 29" Big Blue housings, These quality cartridges provide increased dirt holding capacity and enhanced particulate removal. As with the other spun series, there are no leachables or extractables, and all meet FDA specifications. |
The Premium Spun Series - This product is available with special -222 or -226 O'ring fittings, with the opposite end being either a fin or flat closed type. Custom lengths are readily available from 3" through 50". All spun filters are individually hand inspected and packaged. Ultra high efficiency spun is now available from 1 through 90 microns. The standard double open end configuration is an "off the shelf" product. |
